Prayer for Healing Sick Family and Friends

Lord Jesus, thank you for loving [name of person in need of healing]. I know you despise what their disease is causing them/me. I beg you to heal this disease, to be kind, and to provide healing from all sickness. Psalm 107:19-20 promises that when we call out to you, the Eternal One, you will give the command, cure, and save us from impending death. I’ve read about miraculous healing in the Bible, and I think you still cure in the same way now. I think there is no ailment you cannot heal, and the Bible teaches us that you can raise the dead, therefore I pray for your healing in this scenario. I also know from my own life experience that not everyone is cured. If it occurs here, please keep my heart warm towards you, assist me in understanding your plan, and assist me in being thrilled about paradise. God, I thank you that [name of person in need of healing] is yours and that you have complete authority over all that occurs from our first breath to our final gasp. Amen.
