Prayer For Someone To Change Their Mind

I confess to you, Most Merciful God, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, that I have sinned in thought, speech, and deed. I have not loved you wholeheartedly, nor have I loved my neighbor as myself. I have disobeyed your orders and rejected your affection. Please forgive me and alter my heart in your kindness. Imitate Christ by empowering me with your Holy Spirit. Help me, God, to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with you. Through the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
