Almighty and eternal God, I recognize your assistance in my health recovery and express my heartfelt gratitude to you. I beg your forgiveness for not making better use of my life than I have; that I may correct all the errors of my previous life, that I may improve in virtue, be an example to others, and dedicate that health which is now your special gift to you; that thus living united to you, I may be ever prepared for my last hour, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen. O my soul, bless the Lord; may he be exalted and adored forever.
