Prayers For Our Troubled World

You are the God of all peace and love, Compassionate Father. Help me to go away from anger and aggravation and toward serenity and harmony. The Bible states that words have great power, and I pray that I would speak words of peace rather than wrath. Please allow me to utilize my words to build up rather than tear down. Help me to be sympathetic and kind when I am under strain. When I am upset, keep me from doing sin. Lord, bless and keep me, and shine your face upon me. Give me serenity by turning your face towards me. Amen. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
