Lamb of God Prayer

You declared, Lord Jesus Christ, that those who have been forgiven much will love much. I admit that I frequently lack affection for you because I forget how much I have been forgiven. There has never been a day in my life when I have not needed your forgiveness and grace. There has never been a day in my life when you have not been ready and able to forgive. I thank you for becoming God’s lamb who wipes away the sin of the world. I thank you that I am no longer afraid of death because I have received the gift of eternal life through you.
