Prayer of Strength When Facing Persecution

You reign over everything, Lord, and You hear my plea. Enemies are on their way with malicious intent. They will cause me harm if they have their way. Father, guard me and protect me. I shall look to You for protection since I am rooted in Christ. Even if I have to suffer, please help me to cling on to the promise of the victor’s crown You have for me. I recite this prayer of strength in the name of Jesus, who assures deliverance from the second death. Amen.
